I'm very passionate about learning. Especially when it comes to my life, and things I can do better. Quite frankly, EVERYONE can do money better, so I decided, to really get my finances together, that I wanted to take a free online class about personal finance.
I really wanted to learn to invest, and grow my money, so I immediately began to research a couple ways to learn about them. A lot of universities offer free online courses for the public to learn about finances, and investing, and if you'd be interested in them, you can see a quick link to them below!
I've chosen the course given by UC Irvine, and I'M STOKED. If I need any other information, I'll use the other sites as supplements.
I'll also be reading the super suave money lady, Suze Orman's, book, The Money Class. So far I've read information on the importance of living frugally, and cutting impulse buys. As it is, I don't really impulse buy, so it will be more about fine-tuning, saving, and differentiating and creating retirement accounts. The book cover, with the money queen's face on it, is below! If you'd like to purchase for your own learning, go grab it!
One of the most important aspects of my learning is that I've created goals for each of my accounts, and my money, both short and long term. I can't tell anyone about those goals YET, but once I reach them, I'll be sure to share how I did it.
I'm trying to get smarter about my money. YOU CAN TOO!
I'll give updates occasionally, and let you know what steps I take next!
